              AI System for Glass Product Defect Mangement

              With the support of the BRII group, we are developing an AI system to detect and manage the defects of glass products. This system comprises two main components: (1) a robust, real-time AI-powered defect detection solution specifically designed for wine glass bottles, which was successfully developed and pilot-tested; and (2) an advanced AI agent capable of analyzing defect data from the production line, diagnosing underlying causes, identifying potential remedies, and offering actionable insights and recommendations for process improvement. The system will be used in the glass manufacturing industry. The system will be able to detect the defects in real time and provide the best solution for reducing the defects.

              SmartRolling

              SmartRolling is a novel data-driven AI platform to regulate the smart strip rolling. With the aid of dynamic explicit FEA, we conducted numerical simulations for thousands of strip-rolling cases to cover the typical range of operating factors in the production. We established an open database to collect and store the massive data on the contact characteristics at the roll-strip interface. As such, we constructed an open AI platform to predict the rolling performance by using the collected big data and a machine learning model.

              Natual Hazard Detection System

              We are designing an advanced system to detect natural hazards, such as bushfires and floods, in real time and provide optimal solutions to minimize damage. With end-to-end capabilities, our system covers the entire technological pipeline, from data acquisition and preprocessing to intelligent feature extraction and real-time hazard detection, ensuring large-scale, high-impact deployments. As leaders in technology, we continuously innovate AI solutions tailored for environmental applications, positioning ourselves at the forefront of next-generation natural hazard detection systems.
